Fountain Hills Community Theater Youth Theater is proud to announce the opening of the second show of the 2007-2008 Season, “The Christmas Bus”.
“The Christmas Bus” tells the story of the kind and loving Mrs. Frump who is the director of the Peaceful Valley Orphanage and is planning what she believes will be the most special Christmas ever for her kids. She’s borrowed an old bus and arranged for each child to spend Christmas with a family in the area. The only problem is, she hasn’t told the Busybodies on the orphanage board of trustees, who believe Frump has gotten too old and soft to handle the rowdy kids at Peaceful Valley. This wonderful holiday production is followed up with the theater’s traditional Act II Holiday Festival with Santa Claus!
“The Christmas Bus” is written by Robert Inman and directed by Miciah Dodge.
“The Christmas Bus” is produced by Anne Kelleher.
“The Christmas Bus” is the Youth Theater’s second show of the new 2007-2008 season.
“The Christmas Bus” will play Friday & Saturdays evenings at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM from November 30th to December 16th, 2007. Special additional performance Saturday, December 15th at 2PM.
“The Christmas Bus” cast includes: From Fountain Hills - Rich Beamish, Allie Bice, Todd Carrie, Mallory Hacker, Kylee Kauffman, Hayley Ramroop, Zach Percevecz, Tim Schlum, Jennifer Simmons, Lauren Simon, Elliott Stiles-Schmidt and Rachel Strayer. From Gilbert – Dawn LeSueur and Jessica Swanson. From Scottsdale – Briana Fogleman, Lindsey Garland and Orly Schlesinger.
Technical aspects of the show are also supported by local youth who work both backstage with stage manager Linda Ferington, and in the light and sound booth.
